The installation of solar systems

Greenfish is supporting Bolster Investment Partners in decarbonising their investment portfolio through sustainable projects, from strategy to implementation.

Mission

Greenfish is supporting Bolster Investment Partners in decarbonising their investment portfolio through sustainable projects, from strategy to implementation.

Approach

The project was divided into four phases:

1- The feasibility study: Our team identified the companies with solar potential and conducted a detailed feasibility study, exploring both the technical and financial considerations. We carried out a systematic analysis for each company to find the optimal balance between the possible energy generation and energy consumption. This has made it possible to build a good business case even in congested areas, where it is not possible to inject into the grid.

2- The subsidy application: In the second phase of the project, we applied for subsidies that we were then fully granted.

3- The tender: After the results came in from the feasibility study, a selection of companies decided to proceed to the tender phase. The team gathered all projects and combined them into one tender of 2.5 MWp to ensure the best offer from EPC contractors and the smooth running of the projects during the implementation phase. In the end, we were able to partner with one EPC contractor for all projects.

4- The implementation: The implementation process is still in progress. Greenfish, in cooperation with Bolster, is overseeing the implementation phase, making sure the portfolio companies can focus on their core activities and ensuring quality.

Achievements

Running a successful tendering process and dealing with one EPC contractor was reflected in efficient project management during the implementation phase on the different sites. At the end of this project, we helped Bolster with the first steps of making its portfolio more sustainable through the implementation of over 6,000 solar panels.
